Image Credits (NFSU) ABOUT THE COURSE: The School of Behavioural Science (SBS) offers a two-year full-time M. Sc. Program in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. MSc Clinical Psychology program includes various topics: Cognitive psychology, Developmental Psychology, Health Psychology, Positive Psychology, Psychodiagnostics, and Psychopathology. MSc Neuropsychology program includes Neuroanatomy and Physiology, Sensory and Motor System Anatomy, Electrophysiology, Neurocognitive paradigms & analysis, Neuropsychological Test Methods & Applications, Cognitive Neuropsychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, and Developmental Neuropsychology. The School of Forensic Psychology (SFP) offers a two-year full time MSc in Forensic Psychology and M.A Criminology (with a specialization in forensic psychology). SFP works in close collaboration with the Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS), Gandhinagar. Further, the training programs of SFP are closely supported by national agencies, especially Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), New Delhi. All Central Forensic Science Laboratories (CFSL’s) are affiliated to SFP for up-gradation and upkeep. SFP has well-equipped Investigation & Research Laboratories with the latest technology equipment. ELIGIBILITY: M Sc. Clinical Psychology, M.Sc. Neuropsychology and MSc Forensic Psychology course is open to candidates with B.A. /B.Sc. Degree in Psychology or Science subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% or equivalent marks in aggregate. For SC/ST and PwD category candidates 50 % or equivalent aggregate marks is required. M.A Criminology (with specialization in Forensic Psychology) course is open to candidates from any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate. ---------------------------- ADMISSION PROCEDURE: The candidates can apply online through admission portal in the website https://www.nfsu.ac.in/admission . Candidates must first register and then fill necessary Personal details, Program Selection, Entrance exam & Academic Qualification details and pay application fee of Rs.1000/- through net banking, credit card or debit card.

If a candidate wants to apply for more than one course then separate application forms along with application fees for each course must be submitted. Candidates must upload following documents along with the application:

1. Secondary School Mark sheet

  1. Higher Secondary School Mark sheet

  2. Passport size photo

  3. Signature of the candidate

  4. Graduation Mark sheet

ENTRANCE EXAM DETAILS The Pattern of the entrance examination is as follows: 1. There will be written examination conducted offline. Medium of the exam is English. Syllabus of the entrance examination for MSc Clinical Psychology, M.Sc. Neuropsychology and MSc Forensic Psychology includes: General psychology, Research Methodology and statistics. Syllabus of entrance examination for M.A Criminology (with specialisation in Forensic Psychology) includes: Criminology, Sociology, Social Psychology and Social Work. 2. Total time allotted for the exam is one and half hour (90 minutes). 3. The question paper will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). 4. Maximum marks that can be obtained is 100. There will be no negative marking. 5. Admission will be based on the basis of Entrance Exam conducted by National Forensic Sciences University or based on merit prepared considering percentage in Bachelor's Degree. ---------------------------- Important Dates of 2022: 1.
