About the Role
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Responsible for designing and implementing social media campaigns
a. Design, implementation and monitoring of the PsyCoolG Connect social media engagement strategy and associated plan for all youth engagement projects.
b. Responsible for development of basic mental health content for social media dissemination
i. Undertake regular scoping research of prominent campaigns and health promotion projects to reduce stigma and increase help-seeking behavior
ii. Liaise with the project lead, partners and mental health researchers to develop awareness generating content for social media dissemination in the form of shareable graphics, videos, text posts, stories/narratives, etc.
iii. Coordinate the design of any social media/design collaterals with external agencies as and when required
c. Manage all social media channels
i. Undertake daily updates/management of all social media channels and associated databases
ii. Ensure daily responses are provided to enquiry messages/emails
iii. Maintain databases for all social media enquiries
iv. Update metrics and monitoring data on a weekly basis
2. Coordinate Online events.
a. Responsible for organizing mental health awareness online and coordinating with admin staff, volunteers and stakeholders during the event planning process.
b. Work as a HOST in the events
c. Assist with maintenance of event budgets and expenditure
d. Maintain databases for attendees of various events
3. Prepare impact and online engagement reports for all channels
4. Attend team meetings and assist with annual reports, project evaluation, as needed.

Requirements
ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated social media professional interested in working on increasing the reach and acceptability of mental health information for youth in India. Through PsyCoolG Connect, we aim to increase awareness about mental health amongst young people, facilitate dialogues and conversations about the subject through online channels and to reduce stigma around mental health in the population.
This role provides an opportunity to:
- design an innovative social media campaign for mental health awareness
- Work with mental health experts and youth who have lived experiences of mental health needs
We are searching for someone who is interested in a team leadership role, who is proficient in management and maintenance of social media channels and coordinating public events, and wants to contribute to an emerging high priority field of young people’s mental health. Qualification and experience Education
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree In journalism, marketing, social science, communication, Psychology or in related field.
Language Proficiency
Fluency in both written and spoken Hindi and English is essential. Ability to read and write at least one more Indian language is desirable. Freshers can apply

Includes conducting educational based programs online & offline.
